Information we collect
When you submit the enquiry form, we may collect your name, email address, website URL, selected service and the information you choose to include. Do not submit passwords, payment keys or other highly sensitive information through the public form.
How information is used
The information is used to understand the enquiry, reply about scope, prepare a quotation and continue service-related communication. It is not sold to advertisers.
AI support conversations
When you use AI support, the conversation, page visited, language, response timing, and any email, phone, WhatsApp, WeChat, Telegram or website URL you choose to provide may be stored outside the public web directory for service continuity, identifying genuine project enquiries and human follow-up. Conversations that appear to be useful project enquiries may be sent to M8’s internal inbox through the website’s existing authenticated SMTP system. Do not submit passwords, payment keys or other highly sensitive information in chat.
Storage and security
Website enquiries are saved in a private non-public directory before authenticated SMTP delivery so a mail outage does not lose the enquiry. AI conversations are retained for up to 90 days by default and may be deleted earlier by an administrator or removed automatically under the retention policy. Reasonable measures are used to restrict access.
Technical and anti-abuse data
To verify form submissions, reduce abusive repeat requests and diagnose delivery failures, the website may temporarily process the visitor IP address, submission time, browser request information and mail-delivery errors. Rate-limit records use an IP hash, are stored outside the public directory and are not used for advertising profiles.
Language preference cookie
When you actively choose English or Chinese, the website stores a necessary language-preference cookie so future visits continue in the language you selected. The website currently uses no advertising or analytics cookies, so no marketing-cookie consent banner is displayed.
External contact channels
When you choose a WhatsApp or Telegram link, you leave this website and use the relevant third-party service, whose own privacy policy applies. The WeChat button only copies the public WeChat ID and does not automatically send data to a third party.
